Bill Brady was named just the fifth head men's soccer coach in the last 60 years at Haverford College in April 2009. Brady comes to Haverford from Greensboro (N.C.) College where he won three conference championships and made three NCAA Tournament appearances in four years.
Hired as the head men's soccer coach at Greensboro in 2005, Brady's teams at the college won three USA South Atlantic Conference championships in his four years leading the Pride. Each of those championship squads went on to play in the NCAA Tournament where his 2005 and 2007 teams played their way into the Regional Final game.
Prior to his stay at Greensboro, Brady was the men's coach at D-I St. Bonaventure (N.Y.) University for six seasons.
At Wheaton (Mass.) College, Brady culminated his soccer playing career by being named First-Team All-New England and the college's Senior Athlete of the Year. Following his graduation in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, he stepped off the playing surface onto the coaching sideline for the first time joining the University of Cincinnati men's soccer staff as an assistant coach. Brady was on the Bearcats' staff when the team reached the D-I NCAA tournament for the first time in school history.
